Watermelon lemon slush
How about some easy watermelon lemon slush that only has four ingredients and it is done in a mere of 5 minutes? A tastier better slush version than store bought.
Now that the weather is getting warmer my kids request slushies almost every day. I have made a pineapple coconut version before as well as a kiwi pineapple one that were delicious but today, since we love watermelon and it is in season, I figured we give this version a chance.
I actually love any slushie drink you throw my way, homemade that is. They are great to serve as a refreshing drink at barbecue gatherings so for this Memorial day weekend I will be sure to add this recipe to my drink menu. I am sure everyone will enjoy a healthy, refreshing and tasty watermelon lemon slush with any food I serve that day.
If you would like to make an adult version of this watermelon lemon slush you can add watermelon vodka. That is actually very good as well.
I have actually thought of making a few more versions, so stay tune for those.
To sweetened the watermelon lemon slush I used Truvía® Spoonable, which is a convenient, zero-calorie way to sweeten anything. To learn more you can visit Truvia®.
I wish I made more of this watermelon lemon slush. It was gone in no time and even though I each glass was pretty full we could have had another serving each. Such a great drink.
Well, I hope you get to make this awesome drink. I am sure everyone in your family will love it.
Enjoy!

We bought last evening a watermelon, but it wasn’t very sweet. I think I am going to use that watermelon to made this recipe tomorrow ;-)
Got one last week, well, still not edible…but ok in juice. Your slush looks very tempting!
Love watermelon slushies! Looks so refreshing! :)
What a great way to add watermelon to more stuff this summer! We’ll definitely keep this recipe in mind next time we have a watermelon waiting to be eaten!
