How do you feel about starting the new year with a new smoothie recipe? This high protein blueberry oatmeal smoothie is great for on the go, as a snack, breakfast or post workout drink. Full of fiber, antioxidants, protein, vitamins, minerals and healthy fats.
There is nothing better than starting the day with something wholesome that is full of fiber, protein, vitamins and minerals. This high protein blueberry oatmeal smoothie not only is full of great nutritious ingredients but it happens to be one of my kids favorite smoothie recipes.
I have started to freeze some of my smoothies for those times I don’t even have time to get my blender going, just grab and go. I love to freeze them in mason jars. I just make sure I place the smoothie in the fridge to defrost so by the time I want to consume it it is ready to go.
I am really excited about the next few recipes I will be posting in the blog. I am going to concentrate a bast majority on vegetarian wholesome recipes. I want to get really creative with them and make them quite different that I have been doing lately. Will see what I can come up with.
For 2016 this is what I want to concentrate on. I really don’t have any new resolutions but I would like to change the focus of my photography as well as my recipes. While I believe my photography and recipes are OK there is always room for improvement.
Do you have any new resolutions?
I would love to also spend more time with my kids and less time working on my computer. After I finish working on my next two projects, which will be wrapping up at the end of March, I will be able to slow down a bit and spend more time on other things, such as family and friends. After all, that is what really matters.
Anyways, enough of me already. I hope you like this high protein blueberry oatmeal smoothie. It is a great way to start the day.
And don’t forget…more awesome recipes coming at you soon. Stay tuned!
Enjoy!
